The company will continue to operate in India with niche import products such as the Mustang, Mach-E, and Ranger/Raptor pickup truck trucks. The American carmaker also promised that it would continue to offer maintenance services and spare parts availability in the future. This was done to address the concerns of over a million Ford car owners in India. They were concerned about the impact of the Ford group leaving India.
