“For your reference the vehicle is an automatic 1997 Ford Falcon (4.0 litre 6 cylinder engine) with 66,000 km on the clock. I have recently replaced the 'standard' engine, transmission & differential mineral oils in my vehicle with Red Line products. Measured fuel economies before and after oil replacements were:
Fuel economy with mineral oils: 13.6 litres / 100 km
Fuel economy with Red Line: 12.4 litres / 100 km
This means I now go 10% further on a tank of fuel; the 68 usable litre tank that previously took me 500 km now takes me 550 kms.”
