2002 UWA Invited to represent Australia...

UWA Motorsport Competed in the 2002 Formula SAE - Australiasia Competition in Melbourne last weekend. The team finished 2nd out of a field of 18 entrants. We finished ahead of all the international competitors from the USA, Germany and Japan.The team achieved a score of 890 (out of a possible 1000 points) - 47 points behind the leading team. We set a "high standard' in SAE vehicle design. Carroll Smith chief design judge described it as the 'second best SAE Vehicle he had ever seen'. We have been invited to represent Australia in the US competition in May 2003 where there will be 140 university teams. Red Line provides UWA with continuous sponsorship and technical support since 2001.
